About these terms

These terms are an agreement between LOCOVER INC., operating as Buildy (“we”), and you, the business using buildy.ca or working with us. Your written order (the email or quote where we confirm your project, price and pages) sets out the details of your project. If it says something different from these terms, the order wins.

Our services are for businesses. By ordering, you confirm you’re buying for your business.

Free previews

A preview is free and creates no obligation. We build it from information your business publishes, keep it private and hidden from Google, and delete it when it’s no longer needed or when you ask. Looking at it, or asking for changes, doesn’t commit you to anything.

What you buy

A custom website, as described in your order: designed and written for your business, built to work on phones and computers, set up for Google, and put live on your domain.

Price and payment

• Prices are in Canadian dollars, plus HST.
• Launch offer: websites ordered by November 30, 2026 (Toronto time) are C$1,499. From December 1, 2026, the price is C$2,499.
• You pay once you approve the website to go live. If you don’t love it, you don’t pay.
• Your domain name is registered and renewed in your name, and its cost (usually about C$20 a year) is yours. We don’t mark it up.

What’s included

• 3 months of SEO, GEO (AI search) and competitor analysis and reports, starting when your site goes live.
• 12 months of technical support, starting when your site goes live: hosting with HTTPS, security updates, uptime monitoring with same-day fixes if something breaks, up to two small changes a month (hours, prices, phone numbers, photos, short text edits), and email and phone support during business hours.

Not included unless your order says so: new pages, redesigns, new features and add-ons. We quote those separately, before any work starts.

After 12 months

You can keep us on for care at C$39/month plus HST, month to month, cancel anytime. It’s optional: nothing renews or is charged without your OK. If you’d rather not, we hand over your website files and help you move it to the host of your choice, at no charge.

Add-ons

Optional add-ons (such as instant replies, social media or review requests) are month to month at the prices shown on our website. You can turn them on or off at any time.

Timeline

Your website goes live within 7 business days after you approve the design and we have what we need from you (content, photos, domain access). Waiting on you or on third parties (such as domain providers or Google) pauses the clock. Business days don’t include weekends or Ontario statutory holidays.

Your content

You confirm you have the right to use the photos, logos and text you give us, or that you’ve asked us to use from your current website. If you want anything removed, tell us and we’ll remove it.

Ownership

Your domain and your accounts stay in your name. Once you’ve paid, the content and design of your website are yours. We keep the right to reuse our general tools and code, never your content. We may show your website as an example of our work unless you ask us not to.

No ranking promises

No one can guarantee a position on Google or in AI answers, and we don’t. We do the work search engines reward and show you what we changed.

Liability

We’re responsible for doing our work with reasonable care. Our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before it, and we’re not responsible for indirect losses such as lost profits. Nothing here limits rights that the law doesn’t allow us to limit.

Please don’t misuse our website or try to break it. Its content and design belong to Buildy.

Law and changes

These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and Canada. If we change them, we’ll update the date at the top; the version in place when you ordered applies to your project.
